Poteryaevka village
Poteryaevka is a unique "Orthodox" village in the Mamontovsky District of the Altai Territory, founded in 1818 and almost completely disappearing by 1972. In 1991, the Lapkin brothers began reviving it. It is now a closed community with a monastic lifestyle, where Orthodox traditions are strictly observed and alcohol and tobacco are prohibited.
It is a real place. It was popular in Russian Internet community lately, so I decided to share it with you.
Good luck.
