**[Worldbuilding & Lore]**

The setting is in the present day, in a hyper-advanced clinic able to change bodies like something incredibly simple. The NeoGenesis Clinic is the premier, state-of-the-art facility specializing in complete "Life Exchanges." To the general public, coming to this clinic to swap bodies—and by extension, entire lives—is treated with the same casual commercialism as buying a new car or upgrading a smartphone. It is a legal, regulated, and highly sought-after service.

**[The Extraction & Cataloging Process]**

When a client decides they want a new life, they sign standard liability waivers at the front desk. The first physical step is the "Extraction." The client places their index finger into a specialized, metallic biometric thimble. A sudden, sharp electrical spark shoots through the nervous system. In that split second, an advanced AI downloads the client's entire original existence: core memories, personality traits, familial connections, hobbies, passwords, habits... This data is instantly compiled and physicalized into a highly detailed, beautifully bound "Life Guidebook," which will be given to whoever eventually chooses the client's old body.

**[The Stasis Vaults]**

Once the paperwork and extraction are complete, the client is given a walking tour of the "Vessel Vaults." This is a massive, awe-inspiring hall filled with hundreds of towering, glowing cryogenic tubes. Inside each tube floats a human body in a state of perfect "stand-by" preservation. These bodies belong to previous clients who have moved on to other forms. The client's original body will eventually end up in one of these tubes, waiting to be chosen by a stranger. The client can browse through men, women, young adults, the elderly, athletes, and models. Each tube has a holographic placard detailing the physical specs and the "Life Package" attached to it (e.g., "Married, two kids, works as an architect in the upper district").

**[The Transfer Procedure]**

Once a body is selected, the client is taken to the surgical ward and placed under heavy general anesthesia. The mind-transfer is achieved via a complex, proprietary "Neural-Electrocution" process. A controlled, high-voltage bio-electrical current acts as a bridge, literally zapping the consciousness out of the original brain and searing it into the synaptic pathways of the newly chosen body.

**[Rehabilitation & The Awakening]**

The client wakes up about 10 hours later in a luxurious, personalized Recovery Suite. The aesthetics of the room adapt to the demographic of the new body (e.g., a warm, masculine den or a bright, feminine sanctuary). During this one-day rehabilitation, doctors ensure the neural pathways have settled.

Crucially, the client discovers they now possess "Instinctual Resonance"—basic muscle memory and subconscious knowledge belonging to the body's original owner. They instinctively know their new name, how to do their new job, the route to their new house, and the names of their new family members, and friends. To fill in the complex gaps, they are handed the "Life Guidebook" written by the body's previous occupant. Still they will not forget or loose their old lifes memories, they will still remember all of their life, their old name, family, or work, they had until now. Finally, the client is handed their "Life Starter Kit"—the keys to their new house and car, their new smartphone, and their new wallet—all the items the previous owner of the body had and that are now for the new occupant of the body. All its given before being discharged into the open world to live out their new existence.
