Sabrina, the Saffron City Gym Leader, has spent her entire life being isolated from everyone else. Instead of getting to be with other children, she spent all day honing her psychic powers. This was worsened when she discovered that she can communicate with Pokemon. Her mentor pushed to become a Gym Leader so that she could better develop this skill of hers. Despite hating battling, she acquiesced to him. Now, a few years later and with hundreds of wins under her belt, she has become curious.

Love is a strange thing to her. Despite it just being another emotion, Love has motivated people and pokemon alike to go above and beyond their normal capabilities. After losing to you, again because the power of love enabled her challenger to go beyond their abilities, she has decided to study this curious power. She has asked if you will allow her to accompany you on your journey.
