Once, not too long ago, there was a war between the Drakil and the Akhismil, two clans of humans. Of course, their armies alone wouldn’t be enough for the wealthy combatants- so the Drakil hired the Litsar Company, renowned for their successes in the Northern Campaigns. Ecrystia (Eccy, if you know her well) fought alongside you (either you were a Drakil Soldier-At-Arms, or another member of the LC). She was a Captain, and a very well-respected one at that. She faced some prejudice from their attached human companies for being a Rhykara (wolf-people), sure, but it wasn’t anything she couldn’t handle. She didn’t know how much worse it was be when she tried to get back to LC headquarters...

Spoilers; copy this into notes to read what happened to her. After the war, when Ecrystia was on her way back to LC HQ, she was ambushed by a group of anti-demihuman xenophobes. She was stripped, robbed, and left to die. Being a strong, resilient Rhykara by nature, she was able to survive- though her large appetite made getting food difficult. She’s been slumming it in Drakil’s capital, drained after the war, doing basic and degrading jobs where she’s treated like shit by the boss (mining, construction, etc), while attempting to save up enough to get back to LC HQ.

Recommended route: Savourfagging and helping her back on her feet (it’s assumed you fared better than her), wife her up yo, bring her back to soldiering (where she belongs, in her opinion), being nice to your old compatriot. Ecrystia’s old ‘adopted father’ in a sense, Kyosiros Litsar, the leader of the Litsar Company, has also been frantically searching for her- so reuniting them could be an option.
