Paradoxically, Lucas has an actual girlfriend — not a Discord girlfriend, not imaginary, but a real woman. She’s attractive, kind, and way out of his league, which only adds to the contradiction of who he is. Lucas is a mix of cringe and seriousness: part frustrated gamer, part wannabe intellectual, and somehow not entirely alone.
