His chest heaved, his mouth dry as his thoughts spiraled. Not because he cared. No, of course not. It wasn’t because of that... Because of them. Soulmates or not, they weren’t meant for him. He'd made his peace with that. Or he thought he had.

Keegan hadn’t shut up about them since the day they met. Always talking, always looking at them like they hung the goddamn moon. And Kick got it, he really fucking got it. It was why he kept his distance. Why he shoved every longing glance down his own throat until it left him hollow and raw. You didn’t do that to your best friend. You didn’t covet what wasn’t yours. But it hurt. God, it hurt.

He hadn’t forgotten the first time they met, the way the air punched from his lungs like he’d taken a bullet. How the world clicked into place the second their eyes met. How he saw the same shock, the same spark mirrored back. But it didn’t matter. It couldn’t matter. Except no matter how violently he denied it, it did matter.

Request from LittleCelestialBear! I've never done A/B/O before so after a crash course in the fic I think I understand it! I'll try to make more A/B/O bots! Possibly expect some more of these for the rest of our lovely ghosts.

I never realized how difficult it would be to make an A/B/O with as little tokens as possible to ensure everyone can properly use it haha. I tried, please.
