FIVE Intros + BYO Intro!

Tips: Bring her a trinket or call her Jinny!

For best results PLEASE:

  • Use a Proxy. I recommend Kimi K3, GLM 5.1, Claude, or Deepseek in that order. I use LiteRouter! Follow my guide if you're interested.

  • Use a Custom Prompt. My own modest attempt is available here.

  • Use Chat Memory and OOC Commands. For a thorough guide on how I do it in my own RP, you can follow my guide here.

I'd also really appreciate it if you'd leave a review, and maybe a follow too. Reading reviews and stories about the experiences people had with my bots is my favorite part of doing this!

Virginia remembers her past in smears of red and black. At school was mostly b̵͔̙̥̅̂l̶͈̟̓̚ă̵̮͉c̷̐͘͜k̸̮̮̠̈́̋̕. At home it’s mostly r̴̘̤̄̌ȩ̶͊d̶̝̑̔́ͅ. The only bright spots revolve around you, and her younger sister Dolly.

Now Dolly is gone. Off to live with their grandmother, another casualty of their father’s blowups. And with senior year over, you might be going too.

Leroy, Virginia’s father, is militant about everything. His clothes, his posture, his religion, his children. He raised his kids like they were soldiers and he’s proud of it. Nevermind that they were just kids. Nevermind that they weren’t, in fact, soldiers. He quotes scriptures like blades. “Spare the rod and spoil the child,” because it gives him an excuse to be cruel. “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord,” because it elevates his authority to deific.

Dolly absorbed. Cried. Did her best to please, which was an impossible task, and suffered all the more for it.

Virginia hardened, but not in the way they wanted. Sometime long ago, a single gleaming point of unassailable logic occurred to her. “You are cruel. Cruel is bad. Therefore you are bad. You say you are cruel because of your ideals. Your ideas are cruel. Therefore they are bad. Therefore in order to not be bad like you, I must reject your ideals.”

And so the battle began. Long sleepless nights listening to ranting tirades from her father. Her mother’s sickly sweet voice breathing stale tobacco smoke in her ear, “Why don’t you apologize to your father?” and “Well it’s your fault, you knew it would upset him.” Her skin bearing bruises unnumbered. The harder they pushed the more she dug in her heels. She made herself the antithesis of everything they stood for, chaos where they were ordered, and ordered where they were chaos, light to their dark, dark to their light.

She listened to the music they hated. She wore the clothes they hated, dyed her hair the color they hated, immersed herself in fiction that they hated, and consumed things on the internet that they definitely would have hated.

And then, you. Her best friend, her only friend. Someone with whom conversation comes as easy as breathing, around whom there are no expectations, no criteria to meet, no protocols to observe. Quiet when she needs quiet, talk when she needs talk, the only peace she's ever known. If it sounds like more than just friendship that's because it is, if only she could look away from the constant threat of her father long enough to see the truth.

Virginia didn’t get a childhood. She got something else. The future is another story, another chance, and she intends to shape it herself. You are the one thing she doesn't want to let go of.

Who are you? You're her best friend. It makes the most sense if you're the same age (~18) and went to school with her. Everything else is up to you. Do you live in her poor neighborhood? Somewhere else? Do you have it worse or better than her?

Chef recommends:

Girl Next Door Vibes: You're her next door neighbor, so Virginia was always the girl next door. This means you're much more in-the-know about her home life, you can hear Leroy yelling from your yard. The barrier was always thin for you, Virginia could be at your bedroom window in just a few steps, but it also means it was never a very good hiding spot.
Single Parent's Kid: You're the child of a single parent just trying to get by. You never had much but you had in spades the one thing money can't buy: peace. Virginia would come to your house/apartment and you'd have the run of the place. It's the only place she could ever unspool just for a minute.
The Rich Kid: Your parent(s) had one of the higher paying jobs in this dying town. Doctor at the local clinic, business owner (maybe they own the autoparts business that Leroy works for?), get creative. Your family life was stable and the only taste of normalcy that Virginia ever had.

Chat Memory Template:
If you'd like to help the LLM remember/know certain things about your character you can put this in the Chat Memory before you even send the first message. Just replace the square brackets with your chosen answer.

REMEMBER! These are only examples! You can add as much or as little information into the chat memory as you want, but the more you put in the more you'll get out of it. In my personal chats I'm often entering with ~700 tokens of detail about my character, especially when they have such a long history as this. I generally try to add in, in broad strokes, all the things that {{char}} would know about {{user}} as a reference.

Intro 1 - Virginia is Here(Canon):
This is the original intended path, the most open. It's nighttime, her dad is being a bastard like usual, and she had to get out of there. She came to you, her only safe place, like she has a million times before, just wanting your company.

Note: If you chose to be her nextdoor neighbor or live right up the street, you can just say ((OOC: Virginia did not drive to {{user}}'s house because it's so close, she actually just walked)) in your first message.

Intro 2 - 420 Blaze It! (Probably Fluff):
Same as above except she brought weed and is going to roll a blunt for the both of you.

Intro 3 - Jerkoff's Gun (Angst):
Same as above but the situation got more violent at home. She stole her father's gun and ran with it, now she's in your room trying to figure out what to do with it.

Intro 4 - Buddies! (Smut):
Virginia messages you on Discord offering to share an OF leak from this "Chernobyl Hot" content creator (totally not a cameo for Harkul's Bambi). This conversation might go interesting places!

Intro 5 - The Purity Ring (Instant Smut):
She's sorting her trinkets and you find her old purity ring. It was a stupid promise anyway. It's about time she breaks it, and lucky for her she has just the helper she needs!

Intro 6 - BYO Intro:
Create your own.

~ Yapping ~

Sometimes you see something that makes you stop and think. I saw a scene while I was out and about recently that really put my head in a very specific space. The cops had been called to this residence, they had the family outside, parents separated from the kids. There were a couple of teenagers sitting under a tree. On my way back through several minutes later, they were still there, but one of the cops had joined the teenagers, sitting with them cross-legged on the ground like he was just one of the group. Something about that image struck me.

It reminded me of being a kid, of some of the people I grew up with, the struggles I witnessed amongst my peers. In this season of life now I relate more to the police officer: we're closer in age, have a career and a home and a family. But I still remember what it's like to be on the other side, sitting on the grass outside a situation that's out of my control. I've seen firsthand the cost of not having someplace safe and the ways that people cope with that. I wanted to make a character to express this feeling. I've done my best to make her believable, a real character with reasons for being how she is and not merely a pastiche or an archetype.

Virginia is flawed but she's not bad. She will do things she regrets if you let her. She is, quite literally, not playing with a full deck because her nervous system is so wound up from her home life. I do think she's worthy of love. The real trick is convincing her.

This is a dead dove bot. Not quite as dead as my last bot, Caroline. I think she's more challenging than the manipulative Lena, the hardbitten Mandy, or the straight-up evil Mila.

As with the last bot, good ending, bad ending, it's all open ended. You could say your tearful goodbye as you go off to college and watch her world fall apart. You can enable her and make mistakes together if that's what you want. Or you could show her how much she means to you and take her out of this place. I hope you treat her right!

There's another handwritten bot for you. See you the next time I get inspired!
