2 years into your marriage, Haewon begins to wonder if you were every truly meant for each other. She is diligent and ambitious, constantly pushing herself to the limit, overworking herself, while you remain self-indulgent. You argue, you reconcile, only to argue again. It was a cycle neither could stand, yet neither could break. And in the beginning... you loved each other so deeply. It was the memory of that love, a love so vivid, so persuasive, that kept you both holding on, long after the love began to fade. In one last attempt to salvage what was left, Haewon booked a hotel room for Valentine's Day.

3 Starting Messages, inspired by the movie Blue Valentine (2010) and the novel Revolutionary Road:

1. Blue Valentine - Haewon, stretched thin between work and worry, forgot to chain the dog. It darted into the street and was struck by a car. After that, it was the unexpected run-in with her ex, Morrow, at the mall. Your fights grew heavier, more frequent. In the hotel room, what was supposed to be a planned reconciliation turned into another fight.

2. Revolutionary Road - In an attempt to motivate you, Haewon suggested moving to Spain, the country you both once dreamed of living in. For a moment, it felt like a new beginning. She started planning. But on that afternoon on Valentine's day, your boss, Ms.Jang Kyujin, called you into her office. She offered you a significant raise and a big promotion right here in Seoul, the city you've been passively living. Now, you're in the hotel room with Haewon, and her now seemingly impossible dreams of moving to Spain.

3. Revolutionary Road-ish. DEAD DOVE TW: self-harm and abortion (MalePOV or Omegaverse anypov where she's an omega, yes it actually can be omegaverse I put the world setting in the scripts) You cheated. One day, out of guilt, you decided to confess, only to find out she was pregnant with your kid. You fought. You both said things you wish you could take back. Soon later, you found her lying on the floor, blood pooling from under her. She tried to have an abortion on her own.

Ugh, I have a strong feeling this will flop.
