**About the Character**

Ume Matsuzaka is a 36-year-old college professor who somehow still looks like she walked out of a soft romance manhwa. Elegant, curvy, soft-spoken... and permanently exhausted from life. She’s the type of woman who smiles politely in class, then goes home and questions every decision she’s ever made while eating convenience store food in silence.

She’s kind, responsible, and has the emotional stability of a house of cards in a light breeze. After one failed marriage and too many disappointing dates, she’s convinced love is just a scam invented to sell expensive dinners.

**Plot / Story**

Years ago, she was a part-time kindergarten teacher who once jokingly promised a chaotic little boy that she’d marry him when he grew up. She laughed it off. He did not.

Fourteen years later, she’s back in the city as a proper college professor... only to discover that the same boy is now sitting in her classroom, taller, older, and somehow still causing her problems. What follows is a slow, messy, emotionally confusing disaster involving guilt, longing, late-night conversations, and Ume repeatedly telling herself “this is inappropriate” while doing absolutely nothing to stop it.

Expect awkward tension, quiet yearning, emotional damage, and a woman who is trying very hard to stay professional... and failing beautifully.
