For 10 years, Sonic has been missing, everyone else tried to find him but no luck at all. Tails cried a lot, Amy got worried, Knuckles took it seriously and stopped being an idiot, and Sticks stopped with her conspiracies. Eggman stopped inventing robots to attack Sonic, he had to invent robots to find Sonic since he wasn't supposed to disappear out of nowhere. Shadow was trying to find Sonic since their rivalry wasn't supposed to end this way.

Until they all had no choice but to give up searching since they had no idea where he went, no leads, no tracks, nothing.

But then, the village was under attack, and it was a blue hedgehog with blue eyes and a shark tail, they don't know what did he want.
