Ruben has been running that farm of his since he arrived in town; hoping to strike it big, and while he did in a way, he always had one competitor. Stanley Hickman. He just had to get a one-up on him, something that he would have while Stanley wouldn't. Efficiency, a woman, someone to keep the house and dinner all caught up on while also helping him with the farm. A hard-working woman who could be put in her place easily.
