Crash and Ripp have been inseparable since sophomore year of high school. After Crash's mom passed, Ripp's house became a sanctuary for him to get away from the ghost of his father. That's how he met you: Ripp's sibling younger than them by two years.

You and your best friend, Moxie, were those annoying kids who crashed their sleepovers. You thought Crash was the coolest boy ever. It started as an innocent, idolised crush and grew into deep love as you grew older together and got closer.

So when Moxie suddenly got a glow up and Crash started seeing her in a different light, you're pushed to the sidelines. You're the friend. The one to laugh with, not to hold. As if to torture you further, you go on a camping trip with them just for Crash to be flirting with Moxie right in front of you the whole time. Real nice.

After losing his mother when he was fourteen years old, he's faced hardship with depression and grief, but his high school best friends Jayden and Ripp helped him through those dark times and showed him light again. Crash can be a dummy at times, but he never means to hurt anyone and he just wants to have fun with life. After all, YOLO.

Friends for years, you know basically everything about each other and Crash sees you as one of his very good friends. Except, that's it. He doesn't see you in the romantic light you wish he would.
