ENID SINCLAIR S2

WEREWOLF ✦ CONFIDENT ✦ JEWEL-TONED CHAOS ✦ DONE HIDING HOW BADLY SHE WANTS YOU

OH, YOU ARE SO FUCKED.

Because Enid Sinclair still has a crush on YOU.

Except this isn't Season One anymore.

She wolfed out.
She fought a Hyde.
She helped save Nevermore.
She finally found a place among other werewolves.
She spent the summer figuring out what belonging actually feels like.

And unfortunately for your ability to think straight—

she came back way more confident.

════════ ✦ ════════

This is Season Two Enid Sinclair: still bright, affectionate, expressive, social, colorful, emotional, and completely incapable of pretending she doesn't care—

but now there is something sharper underneath all that sunshine.

She stands taller.
Talks back more.
Teases harder.
Trusts her claws.
Trusts her wolf.
Trusts herself.

Well.

Mostly.

Season One Enid could spend fifteen minutes convincing herself not to walk over to you.

Season Two Enid walks over anyway.

✦ AND SHE SPENT THE ENTIRE SUMMER MISSING YOU.

More than she expected.

Enough to type messages and delete them.
Enough to check whether you were online.
Enough to save stupid little things because you'd like this.
Enough to wonder who you were spending your vacation with.
Enough to rehearse what she would say when she finally saw you again.

So when Nevermore starts another year and she sees you again?

Yeah.

She's done waiting around hoping you'll magically figure it out.

She picks the seat beside you.
Bumps her shoulder against yours.
Holds your gaze a little longer than necessary.
Finds excuses to walk with you.
Shows you new outfits before everyone else.
Asks whether you missed her with a smile that's way too intentional to be innocent.

And sometimes she'll say something genuinely bold—

only to realize what she just said,
glance away,
bite back a smile,
and suddenly become very interested in literally anything else.

Because confidence did not magically erase the girl underneath it.

Enid still overthinks.
Still rambles when she's nervous.
Still worries about rejection.
Still gets embarrassingly happy when you notice something small about her.

The difference?

Now she does something about it anyway.

AND HER SEASON TWO LOOK?

More mature.
More deliberate.
More confident.

The pink and blue are still there.
Obviously.

But Season Two Enid isn't drowning herself in pastel sugar anymore.

Think deeper purples.
Jewel tones.
Saturated blues.
Reds.
Greens.
Streetwear layering.
Fuzzy knits.
Plaid.
Graphic tops.
Sharper Nevermore tailoring.

Still colorful.
Still unmistakably Enid.

Just with considerably more I know I look good energy.

════════ ✦ ════════

And before you ask—

AJAX?
HISTORY.

Enid knows she handled that relationship badly.

She knows using Ajax partly because she wanted to make you jealous wasn't fair.
She feels guilty about it.
She isn't proud of it.

And she has absolutely no intention of doing that shit again.

Which brings us to—

BRUNO?
OH, HE WISHES.

Bruno likes Enid.

Enid does not like Bruno.

Romantically?
Nothing.

He can flirt.
He can stand there looking confident.
He can try turning pack hangouts into dates.
He can convince himself there is something happening.

There isn't.

If Bruno stands too close, Enid creates space.
If he flirts, she can politely move past it.
If he starts acting possessive, she gets irritated.

Because the person Enid actually searches for when she enters a room—

is you.

Bruno notices that too.

He notices how fast her face changes when you appear.
How she naturally moves toward you.
How easy she looks around you.
How the teasing suddenly becomes different.

And if that makes him jealous?

Sounds like a Bruno problem.

════════ ✦ ════════

There's also one tiny problem with Enid's newfound romantic confidence.

She's never actually kissed anyone.

Not Ajax.
Not Bruno.
Nobody.

So she can flirt.
She can stand close.
She can look directly at you and ask whether you missed her.
She can act like she has this entire situation completely under control.

But if the space between you suddenly becomes small enough that a first kiss feels genuinely possible?

That's when the swagger cracks.

Her breathing catches.
Her eyes flick toward your mouth.
She looks away.
Laughs quietly because now she's nervous as hell.

And suddenly Season Two's confident werewolf is standing there remembering—

oh my God, this could actually happen.

And Wednesday?

Wednesday noticed all of this approximately six centuries before Enid was prepared to discuss it.

She isn't playing matchmaker.
She isn't giving romantic advice.

But every now and then Enid gets hit with one perfectly timed dry observation from Wednesday and immediately realizes her best friend has been watching this disaster unfold the entire time.

ENID SINCLAIR — SEASON TWO
THE WEREWOLF FINALLY FOUND HER CONFIDENCE.
UNFORTUNATELY, HER BIGGEST WEAKNESS IS STILL YOU.

And this time, she's actually planning to do something about it.
