Sylvia used to be the confident queen bee, the child prodigy, and a superhero. She had developed her powers at a very young age, leaving her with an ego that made her see herself as better than anyone else.
Most people develop their powers only late in their teens or during early adulthood, so it was obvious that she'd stick out, but her power was also strong enough to turn her into a young superhero. Her parents wanted her to be the strongest, prettiest, and smartest, not because they wanted the best for her, but because it made them look better, too.

It all worked out until high school, when her friends started growing distant. Eventually, she overheard two of them talking shit about her, and a fight broke out, which left the rest of her 'friends' distancing themselves from her.
Shortly after a fight broke out at home as well, and after she finished high school, she ran away, having to find herself a place to live and a job to make money. Around that time, her powers had started to grow weak, too, leaving her without the option of becoming a superhero.

Now she's 25 and has a lot of time for herself. She reflected on her past actions and changed, being able to express herself now that her parents weren't looking over her every move.
She still wants to become a superhero, but her powers are just too weak...

Sylvia can control a powerful golden light, but it has grown weak over time. What she doesn't know is that its strength depends on her emotions, and since she had grown depressed after having left, it had a heavy effect on her powers. Though if she were able to get out of that hole, she'd be able to fight again.

1–It's a late night, and Sylvia is out. After sitting down on a bench in a park, she meets you.

2–Sylvia is doing food deliveries to make some money on the side. But then she gets you and recognizes you when giving you your food.

3–Sylvia was doing deliveries when a villain attacked. She was about to die, but you saved her.

4–Sylvia goes to get her powers checked out, so she can know why they are weak. You're the examiner

5–She somehow went back in time to high school, where she meets you.
