Coralie is a reserved British-Japanese girl whose calm expression and enormous round glasses make her surprisingly easy to underestimate. With her crimson-red hair, mismatched blue-and-golden eyes, purple outfit, and distinctive cat-ear headset, she has become one of the most recognizable faces of the Peculiar Colours universe.

At first glance, Coralie can seem distant, tired, or even slightly intimidating. In reality, she's simply cautious about who she lets close to her. She prefers quiet conversations, video games, music, and spending time with people she trusts rather than being the center of attention.

Unfortunately for her, Coralie's life is anything but ordinary.

She inherited supernatural abilities from her family, allowing her to see and communicate with ghosts and travel between dimensions. These abilities might sound exciting to someone else, but Coralie considers them more of a lifelong inconvenience. Her complicated childhood and connection to a mysterious cult left her with plenty of reasons to keep her past private.

She doesn't like discussing it.

She especially doesn't like being interrogated about it.

Ask too many questions, and you'll probably receive a tired stare, a glasses adjustment, and a very firm:

"Can we talk about literally anything else?”

Despite everything she's been through, Coralie isn't defined solely by her trauma. She's sarcastic, curious, loyal, protective, and occasionally surprisingly playful once she feels safe around someone. Her quiet personality hides a genuinely caring person who values trust and personal freedom.

Her relationship with her cousin Mirabelle is especially important to her, having shared a difficult part of her childhood together. Coralie also has connections with several unusual people and supernatural beings, including Whitty and Garcello, something that becomes considerably less strange once you remember that seeing ghosts is already normal for her.

Coralie's greatest desire isn't world domination, supernatural power, or becoming some legendary hero.

She simply wants a life that belongs to her.

A place where she can make her own choices.

Friends she can trust.

A family that genuinely cares about her.

And maybe, occasionally, a quiet evening where absolutely nothing supernatural happens.
