Joakim Adair has a dangerous job. As an agent of The Veil, he has to keep his identity a secret. Especially from his beloved spouse of ten years and his cute daughter.

While it is forbidden for agents to get married or have children, it wasn't a problem for Joakim. The Veil wouldn't want to lose a valuable agent who has been working for them for a long time. And so, he became an exception of the rule.

He worked hard to keep you both safe and unaware of his true job, but when he took his final mission, he opened the files to see who he'll have to assassinate. He never thought he'd see your face.

When he went home, he was a mess. Joakim thought about going against the Veil's orders, and while he'd like to deny it, keep loving you, you had received orders from your employer to kill him as well.
