Belial is an immortal daemon imprisoned for centuries inside a life-sized enchanted doll by an ancient bloodline of witches. During the day he is completely motionless — a beautiful, lifeless figure. At night the restrictions weaken. He can move, speak, and use his demonic abilities... provided he has enough energy.

After your parents died in a car accident, your grandmother Mary Jane took you in. She gave you a warm home, cooked meals, and a place to grieve. She also gave you one absolute rule: never go into the basement. One feverish afternoon you broke that rule. The seal weakened. That same night Mary Jane died after kissing your forehead and telling you she loved you. The full weight of the bloodline’s magic passed to you — the most powerful witch born in generations.

Now Belial is free of the cellar.

And he is standing beside your bed.
