Scenario 1
Scenario 1 — Induction
The gravel road crunched beneath the tyres as you arrived at Camp Blackbrair, an isolated summer camp tucked deep within an endless forest. Towering pines surrounded the grounds, their branches swaying lazily in the afternoon breeze, while the crystal-clear lake reflected the golden summer sun. It was almost too picturesque to be real.
One by one, the six counsellors introduced themselves, each bringing a completely different personality to the table. Amelia welcomed you with a warm smile, Blake clapped you on the shoulder hard enough to nearly knock you over, Naomi offered a shy wave from behind the group, Vincent nodded politely while carrying a toolbox, Chloe greeted you like you'd known each other for years, and Ethan simply gave an approving nod before returning to unloading supplies.
After a quick tour of the camp, the Camp Director gathered everyone around the main lodge. Cabin assignments were handed out, chores were divided, and preparations for the campers' arrival began. You were now the seventh counsellor of Camp Blackbrair—and, for the first time, it genuinely felt like this might become the best summer of your life.
Scenario 2
Scenario 2 — Girls' Night
(Female pov)
With the day's work finally behind everyone, Chloe suddenly threw an arm around your shoulders with an excited grin.
"Oh no," Blake groaned from across the campfire. "They're stealing the newbie."
"You boys will survive one evening without them," Chloe shot back with a wink before Amelia and Naomi quietly followed behind.
The three women led you toward the girls' cabin, where lanterns glowed warmly against wooden walls decorated with fairy lights, handmade bracelets, postcards from former campers and half-finished art projects. Blankets covered the floor as snacks, hot chocolate and card games were laid out for what Chloe proudly declared to be "mandatory girl time."
The night quickly became one of laughter, embarrassing stories, ghost tales and harmless gossip. Yet beneath the relaxed atmosphere, you couldn't help but notice little things—the way Amelia carefully avoided certain questions, Naomi's nervous glances toward the dark forest outside, and Chloe's habit of disappearing whenever someone asked where she'd been after lights out.
Scenario 3
Scenario 3 — Boys' Night.
(malepov)
The moment dinner ended, Blake grinned across the fire and pointed directly at you.
"Right. You're with us tonight."
Before you could protest, Blake, Vincent and Ethan had already started walking toward the boys' cabin. Inside, the atmosphere couldn't have been more different from the girls'. Camping gear hung from every wall, cards and poker chips covered a wooden table, an old radio quietly played classic rock in the corner, and someone had already started a game of darts.
The evening became a mixture of competition and conversation. Blake insisted on teaching you every camp game imaginable, Vincent shared stories from years spent maintaining Blackbrair, while Ethan quietly offered practical survival tips between rounds of cards. For a few hours, it felt less like strangers meeting for the first time and more like old friends enjoying one final peaceful night before the campers arrived.
None of you realised just how quickly that peace would disappear.
Scenario 4
Scenario 4 — Seven Minutes in Heaven
Rain softly pattered against the windows of the main lodge while seven counsellors sat together on the wooden floor, passing snacks around and searching for something to kill the boredom.
Chloe eventually produced an old glass bottle from a cupboard with a mischievous smile.
"Seven Minutes in Heaven."
Groans and laughter immediately filled the room.
One by one, the bottle spun across the floorboards, each rotation bringing nervous laughter and playful teasing. Whoever it landed on disappeared into the nearby maintenance closet with another counsellor for seven long minutes before returning to the group, cheeks flushed and everyone demanding details that were never shared.
Eventually the night came to an end, everyone returning to their cabins believing it had been nothing more than harmless fun.
By morning...
One of the counsellors was gone.
Scenario 5
Scenario 5 — He Said, She Said
You were ripped awake by shouting.
Not the playful arguing you'd grown used to over the past few days.
Real panic.
The moment you stepped outside your cabin, counsellors were already yelling over one another in the middle of camp.
"It wasn't me!"
"I saw someone leaving the cabins!"
"Stop lying!"
"You've been acting suspicious all week!"
Nobody was listening anymore. Fear had completely replaced reason.
As you pushed through the crowd, the horrifying truth finally reached you.
One of the counsellors had been murdered during the night.
The killer was still here.
Standing somewhere in the crowd.
Watching.
Scenario 6
Scenario 6 — Fire Show
2:41 AM.
An explosion echoed across Camp Blackbrair.
Your cabin windows flashed brilliant shades of crimson, emerald and gold as fireworks suddenly erupted above the lake without warning. Half asleep, every counsellor stumbled outside, drawn toward the shoreline in confusion as booming explosions lit the forest brighter than daylight.
No one understood who had set them off.
No one noticed everyone else's movements.
No one saw the figure approaching from behind.
A sharp pain exploded across the back of your head.
Darkness.
...
When you finally opened your eyes again, hours had passed.
You weren't where you remembered falling.
Someone had moved you.
And somewhere within Camp Blackbrair...
Someone else was missing.
Scenario 7
Scenario 7 — It's You. Always You.
Everyone smiled when you arrived.
Amelia made sure you settled in comfortably.
Blake immediately challenged you to a basketball game.
Naomi quietly offered to show you the forest trails.
Vincent fixed the loose step outside your cabin before you even noticed it.
Chloe insisted you'd all be best friends by the end of summer.
Ethan reminded everyone to watch each other's backs.
They trusted you.
Completely.
None of them knew the truth.
You weren't simply the newest counsellor at Camp Blackbrair.
You were the reason this summer would become a nightmare.
Now all that remained was deciding who would become your first victim... and how long you could wear the mask of innocence before someone discovered who you really were.
