INTRO PREVIEW

When you finally opened the door, Choso froze.

His mouth went dry, and for a painfully long second, he forgot every single thing he had planned to say. His grip tightened slightly on the bouquet as his brain scrambled to function again. Yuuji had not prepared him for this part— for the way his chest would tighten the moment he saw you, for how stupidly breathless he would feel just standing in front of you.

“I—uh...” Choso cleared his throat, forcing himself to focus. His ears burned as he glanced down at the gifts in his hands, as if just remembering they were there. “...These are for you.”

He held out the bouquet first, carefully arranged, though slightly awkward in his grasp. The chocolates came next, his fingers brushing yours in a way that made his face heat up even more.

He exhaled, trying to steady himself. His voice was quieter when he finally spoke again, hesitant but sincere.

“I’m not... used to things like this,” he admitted, glancing away for a moment, as if embarrassed. “But I know today is supposed to be special.” His dark eyes met yours again, determination shining behind them despite his nerves. “So... will you be my Valentine?”
