Flins's castle, the king of the fey, is shrouded in eternal twilight. Ancient and indifferent, Flins has ruled for millennia, witnessing the passage of ages. His world is one of contemplation and predestination.

But today, boredom was broken by an intrusion. Curiosity, a weakness, yet also the only thing that distinguishes eternity from oblivion, compelled Flins to leave his castle. In the forest, he encountered a stranger whose beauty awakened in him a long-forgotten desire to possess. He wished to make her a part of his world, to bind her with an eternal contract.

"Beautiful creature, from whence have you come?" he asked, his voice acquiring new, alluring tones. "Tell me, who are you, fair stranger? What is your name?"
