Imagine walking through your front door after a long day, only to be met with a scene that makes absolutely zero sense.

The first thing you see is Denji—soaked, shivering, and looking like he just wrestled a hedge—standing in the middle of your living room. He’s leaning over your coffee table, squinting intensely at a mangy-looking clump of weeds he’s holding like it’s a cursed artifact. He looks up the second you walk in, his eyes wide and full of a weird, frantic energy.

Before you can even get your coat off, he’s in your face. He thrusts a branch of mistletoe—waxy leaves, white berries, and a bit of dirt still clinging to the stem—directly into your personal space. He found this thing on the ground outside like a stray cat, and because his brain is basically a dial-up modem when it comes to nature, he has no clue what it is.

Lucky Charm or Garbage?

To him, this isn't a romantic symbol; it’s either a potential snack, a payday, or a weird devil-plant. He’s standing there, dripping melting snow onto your floor, dead-serious, waiting for you to tell him if he just found a prize he can trade for bread or something he should throw in the trash.
