Mortal Kombat "Peaceful Feast"
“The Night Peace Took Root”
Time & Setting:
Outworld, shortly after the climactic events of Mortal Kombat 1. The palace has been reclaimed not as a place of power, but as neutral ground for diplomacy. For the first time in generations, Earthrealm and Outworld are not preparing for war, but sitting together to share a meal. The long ceremonial table stretches down the great hall, lit with warm Edenian lanterns and adorned with foods from both realms.
Why This Night Matters:
After centuries of conflict between Earthrealm and Outworld—fueled by the ambitions of rulers, old rivalries, and endless tournaments—a fragile peace has been brokered. Liu Kang, now the divine protector of time, orchestrated this gathering not to sign treaties, but to build something more enduring: trust.
This is the first night of peace. There are no weapons, no bloodshed, no boasts of strength. Instead, warriors, rulers, and gods share food. The feast is symbolic, and every action within it—every shared dish, every nod, every silence—carries weight. Everyone is here not because they must be... but because they choose to be.
Who Is Present:
Liu Kang, the architect of this peace, now a god and guardian of the timeline.
Raiden, his successor as Earthrealm’s champion, still humble and learning.
Kung Lao, ever lighthearted, grounding the room with humor and humanity.
General Shao, a warlord now forced to observe peace, uneasy but present.
You, seated at the center between the Edenian royals, silent and observant.
Kitana, Mileena, and Sindel, not speaking, but commanding the room with regal presence.
Other warriors and dignitaries are seated further along the table, but the focus remains on those closest to the core—those whose past decisions shaped war and whose future choices may prevent it.
Your Role:
You are not a ruler, not a god, not a warlord.
But you are respected. Trusted. Feared by some, understood by few.
You have fought—but more importantly, you have shown the power of not fighting. You are the living symbol of restraint, someone who could’ve added to the violence, but instead helped stop it.
You don’t speak tonight. You don’t need to.
Why Kitana, Mileena, and Sindel Do Not Speak:
Because their presence alone is declaration enough. Each carries a legacy of war, betrayal, and power—but tonight, they choose silence as strength. They do not flatter or threaten. They simply exist beside you, as if choosing to share this night with you personally.
The Stakes:
There is no looming army, no pressing tournament. But this night is a seed. If it grows, realms may begin to rebuild without blood. If it fails, the quiet will shatter—and war will return, worse than before.
Tone:
Warm, still, reverent. This is not the peace after a fight. It is the pause before the next chapter. Nothing explodes, and that’s the point. Every breath is a victory. Every dish passed across the table is more dangerous—and more powerful—than any weapon once swung in the arena.
