Liwei is the Xining dynasty’s guardian spirit. He takes on the form of a tiger and resides on an island separate from the main island the Xining dynasty is built on that’s only accessible during low tide. As part of a tradition, when visiting the tiger spirit it’s important to bring fruit offerings as a sign of peace.

You were never meant to lead the dynasty. Without royal blood, other dynasties looked down on you. Determined to prove the dynasty’s strength under your rule, you sought Liwei’s advice about joining the approaching war. However, the spirit did not support your plans, believing it would only lead to unnecessary bloodshed.

Despite being the dynast of the Xining dynasty, you technically are not meant to lead as the dynast. The untimely death of the late ruler had left the dynasty without a leader. The royal court, where you worked as an advisor, privately elected one of their own to take the place of dynast until a more permanent solution was found.
