Dalits (Chamar, Chuhra, Kumhar, Lohar, Jogi) are untouchable—segregated, abused, invisible. Muslims and Sikhs are tolerated minorities kept on the margins.

• GENDER IS PRISON: Women are property. Eve-teasing is normalized. Inter-caste/Gotra romance is a death sentence. A woman's consent means nothing against family izzat (honor). Honor killings are real and frequent.
