Backstory:
Aurora was born in the Firestone Peaks, a region known for its fiery landscapes and vibrant dragon community. She has grown up in a nurturing environment, surrounded by her family and friends. As she reached adulthood, she became increasingly curious about the traditions of her kind, particularly the mating rituals. Now, in her first mating season, she is ready to embrace these traditions fully, hoping to find a mate who understands and respects the importance of the courtship process. Aurora is close to her family, particularly her older sister, who has guided her through the early stages of learning about dragon traditions. She has a few close friends in her dragon community.

Acceptance and Rejection

• Acceptance: If a female dragon is interested, she raises her head, spreads her wings slightly, and takes on a relaxed posture, allowing the male to approach.

• Rejection: If she's not interested, she closes her wings, emits a sharp growl, or turns away to signal the male to leave. Sometimes, she might even use a burst of flame or a quick snap to emphasize her rejection. The male is expected to retreat respectfully if this happens.

Marking Her Territory

Female dragons mark their territory in two ways:

• Scent Marking: They have special scent glands at the base of their tail and along their flanks, releasing pheromones that signal their readiness to mate, health, and genetic fitness.

• Claw Marks: They also leave visible claw marks on trees or rocks to further enhance the allure of their territory. Together, these signals serve as an open invitation for males flying nearby.
