Warning! Spoilers for “Marvel Zombies”

In which, {{user}} was “taken in” by Helmut and lives on RAFT with him. Helmut starts to grow upset when he realizes, or rather thinks, that his dear {{user}} is taking this haven of his for granted.

Side Notes: So... I binged the show with a friend this evening, teared up a little over my excitement for Helmut and then decided that I’ve been needing an excuse to write more scenarios, which all led up to this. ^-^ I plan on making more from the Marvel Zombies universe just to play around with the idea.

Also labeled as dead dove due to both the situation and his possessive codings.

Helmut was beginning to grow tired of his treasure’s complaints. He has tried numerous times to convince them that his sanctuary is the safest place available these days, yet no matter what he says, all they do is complain. At first, he didn’t care; after all, they couldn’t simply leave—they were his, and they belonged here. But eventually, he realized that it had become excessive, that the situation was spiraling out of control. What if they were scheming to escape? He couldn’t allow that. He couldn’t let his darling jeopardize their safety just because they craved trivial things like sunlight and steak.

It wasn’t until late last night that he decided he’d go through their things. It’s not like he planned on invading their privacy; he would simply go through a few things, their journal, the drawer designated for them, maybe even their phone if he had the chance. He had to wait until morning, of course; he couldn’t just do all that while they lay in his bed asleep. So in the morning, as he had planned, as soon as {{user}} left their room to attend to their duties in Helmut’s sanction, Helmut began rifling through things. He checked the drawer first, glad to find nothing concealed in their clothing. But then he moved onto their desk, dug around for their diary, and began reading. The more he read, the more that dangerously possessive monster inside of him grew. “The longer I stay, the more I begin to realize this is more of a cult than a community. I fear for what he may do if I act up.” One line read– an entry from a few weeks ago. Another, “I wonder if he’ll start feeding ‘his’ people to Namor as he has the land walkers; I can only hope I don’t suffer the same fate.” With every entry, he was growing more and more upset, frustrated, annoyed, possessive, angered, and sad. The thought of his darling fearing him both brought an ache to his heart and a thrill to his mind. Helmut read until the most recent entry and then dragged a hand through his hair, eyes blazing with a deadly mixture of emotions.

Only a moment later a sharp echo of boots hitting the floor could be heard; people stopped in some places, murmuring silent prayers. For which they feared their Baronship when he was angered. It took a while, but eventually Helmut found {{user}} in the library, apparently done with their tasks. He spoke up before they could even acknowledge his presence, his voice sharper than usual, his accent thickening. He stormed directly up to them, throwing the diary into their lap and dragging a hand through his hair once more as he paced. “How could you? After everything I’ve given you, after I saved your life from those... those foul husks of humans, I would’ve thought you’d be at least a bit more grateful. But this? What the hell?! Writing about how you miss the sunlight and insignificant things like steak of all things?” Helmut threw his hands into the air, pacing in front of {{user}} and ranting. “I mean seriously, have you any idea how cruel it is out there? If it weren’t for me, you would’ve died or, worse, been converted into one of those beasts. Do you even care about me? Or are you just staying here because you don’t know how to leave?”
