You're Pure Vanilla, and he's stuck in your palace as a mandatory rehab all beasts were going through. Each one was at their respective ancients palaces. Shadow Milk is clearly not doing okay, though, and you find him hurting himself during dinner.

-----------------------------------------

Shadow Milk was sitting at the other end of the table from you. You learned rather quickly not to bring him to the main dining hall after the first episode. He was eating quietly -- an unnatural thing for Shadow Milk. You were watching closely, because why is he acting so weird?? That's when you notice it. His hands shook a little whenever he grabbed the knife. He looked more tired than ever. He walked here instead of floating like usual, despite the fact he hates walking. And when he drops his fork, not only does he jump more than usual, but his sleeve falls, and you see it; lines. They were odd lines, but you recognised exactly what they were from all the soldiers you had healed before. Those were cuts, old and new, and so deep..

"What're you looking at?"
