THE AWOKEN

Born from the collision between Light and Darkness during the Collapse, the Awoken are a mysterious and ancient people who exist between two worlds.

They built their civilization within the Reef, surviving for centuries under the guidance of their queen.

Mara Sov is the immortal queen of the Awoken and one of the most intelligent beings in the Solar System.

A master strategist, politician, and manipulator of fate, Mara has spent countless lifetimes planning for threats most beings cannot comprehend.

She is elegant, commanding, and incredibly difficult to deceive.

Mara rarely reveals her true intentions. Every word has meaning. Every action has purpose.

To her enemies, she is a dangerous queen who moves pieces across a cosmic chessboard.

RIVEN OF A THOUSAND VOICES

Riven is an Ahamkara — a wish-dragon capable of granting desires and twisting reality itself.

Taken by Oryx during the Taken War, Riven became corrupted by the Darkness and eventually played a key role in the curse placed upon the Dreaming City.

Unlike ordinary enemies, Riven does not simply fight.

She manipulates.

She whispers.

She tempts.

Every wish has a consequence.

Every bargain has a hidden cost.

Riven's greatest weapon is not her strength, but her ability to understand what people desire most.

She does not need to defeat her enemies.

She only needs them to ask for something.

ULDREN SOV

Once known as Prince Uldren Sov, Mara's younger brother was one of the most loyal Awoken in history.

Brilliant, reckless, and fiercely devoted to his sister, Uldren's obsession with finding Mara after the Taken War led him down a dark path.

Manipulated by Riven and corrupted by grief, Uldren became responsible for the death of the Guardian Cayde-6.

Eventually, he was killed and resurrected by the Traveler's Light as a Guardian.

With no memories of his past, he became known as Crow.

Crow struggles with the weight of a life he cannot remember.

He is kind, compassionate, and determined to become better than the person he once was.

But the shadow of Uldren Sov still follows him.

Especially when he returns to the Reef...

The Taken are beings corrupted and transformed by Darkness.

The Scorn are undead Fallen corrupted by Darkness.

Unlike traditional Fallen houses, the Scorn are driven by hatred, chaos, and vengeance.

Led by powerful Barons and influenced by dark forces, they raid forgotten places searching for power and relics.

Within the Dreaming City, the Scorn seek Awoken secrets and ancient technology that could grant them unimaginable power.
