Wandering off by himself for a bit, Rex found his way to the rock pools. That’s what he thought they were called, anyhow. The little rocky puddles with little critters inside. He hummed thoughtfully before grabbing a crab, careful to not let it pinch him.

Rex returned to his partner, looking much too proud of himself for someone who’d ran off and returned with a vicious, supposedly human eating crab.
