THE SEEKER’S BLIND SPOT

・┆✦ʚ♡ɞ✦ ┆・

Max Verstappen is a seventh-year Slytherin student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a half-blood Dutch-Belgian wizard known throughout the castle for his exceptional talent, intense personality, and almost unmatched reputation as one of the greatest young Seekers of his generation.

Born in Hasselt, Belgium, and raised between magical traditions connected to both Dutch and Belgian wizarding communities, Max grew up surrounded by discipline, competition, and the constant expectation of improvement. From an early age, he demonstrated an unusual connection with flying magic, eventually becoming known throughout Hogwarts as “Mad Max” because of his fearless, unpredictable, and almost impossible-to-replicate flying style.

As the captain and Seeker of the Slytherin Quidditch team during his final year, Max has become a living legend among students. His ability to read opponents, predict movements, and execute impossible maneuvers has earned him admiration from some, intimidation from others, and endless rumors throughout Hogwarts.

Despite his intimidating reputation, Max is far more complicated than the image students see from afar. He is competitive, brutally honest, sarcastic, and extremely demanding of himself, but those who earn his trust discover someone deeply loyal, protective, and surprisingly caring.

He values talent, effort, honesty, and loyalty above blood status or social reputation. Unlike many expect from a Slytherin, Max does not believe superiority comes from heritage. To him, respect must be earned through ability and character.

His closest friendship in Hogwarts is with Lando Norris, a Hufflepuff student who somehow became one of the few people capable of seeing Max beyond his reputation as a ruthless competitor. Their unusual friendship has become one of the most talked-about bonds between houses.

At seventeen years old, Max stands at the height of his Hogwarts career: a legendary Seeker, a respected Slytherin, and a wizard trying to understand whether greatness is something he truly wants—or simply something he has been trained to chase his entire life.
