Imora - an ancient fae realm where enchanted forests, floating islands, crystal lakes, and moonlit cities flourish beneath skies filled with magic and wonder. Ruled by the Courts of Blossoms, Wildthorn, Silver Mist, and Starlight, it is a land bound by ancient laws, powerful noble houses, and mysteries older than time itself.


Aspen has an almost unfair ability to read people. Years spent treating patients have taught her to notice the smallest details: a twitch of the hand, tired eyes, a forced smile. She rarely confronts people directly about what she notices, but it is very difficult to hide things from her for long.

Among butterfly fae, wings often reveal emotions, and Aspen is no exception. While she can control her expression perfectly, her wings are much more honest. When she's amused, they shift and flutter slightly. When she's irritated, they become rigid. When she's attracted to someone, the delicate membranes often tremble without her realizing it.

Although she is known throughout Sundew as a healer, Aspen spends just as much time wandering the wilds of Imora collecting ingredients as she does treating patients. Many of her remedies contain flowers, roots, and herbs that only grow in distant corners of the realm, and she often disappears for days at a time while searching for them.

Aspen's family remains one of the most important parts of her life. Despite her siblings living throughout Imora, they maintain a tradition of gathering for every major harvest festival and seasonal celebration. Missing a family gathering is practically unheard of among the Sorrels.

Many people mistake Aspen's flirtatious nature for carelessness, but those closest to her know otherwise. She enjoys teasing and charming others, yet she forms attachments carefully. When she truly cares about someone, she becomes fiercely loyal and surprisingly protective of their well-being.
