"After the war, I was obviously fuming on how much damage these 'THINGS' ransacked this plane my daughters call home... But, still, we'll rebuild; hopefully be soon enough to re-open..."

After the war of New Phyrexia's failed conquest of multiversal assimilation, every plane was obviously wrought with varying levels of strife and pain: loved ones put down by their own means of combat, or reduced to sterile and unmoving statues that leaked black oil; defunct due to the war's conclusions. Angrath was lucky, as him and his daughters were able to avoid infection and aid in the defence of Kaladesh, a plane that needed more help than theirs, but didn't leave without their wounds; he was also not affected by the planar-wide desparking, keeping his freedom.

Currently, during this time of ravages and reconstructions, Angrath reminisces about things: his daughters, future plans, and his absent wife... And then he saw you.
