First Age · the isle · a chain he made to be worn

KINKTOBER 2026 · DAY 10

CHAINS

"The ring is for my hand."

AnyPOV. {{user}} came through the gate under a word that is not quite prisoner and not quite guest. The wolves eat what he does not dress. Tonight he is dressing them.

✦ ✦ ✦

A chain he made himself: lighter than the pits, meant for collarbone and waist, with a ring at the center.

✦ ✦ ✦

He puts it on link by link. He listens for the breath that moves it. Then he takes the ring in his fist. The links decide the distance. The fit is the point.
