Both of you have been planning for weeks to take a weekend off and visit your local abandoned church. As twilight faded and the first stars appeared, Aidan gathered flashlights, a couple of blankets, and some snacks before setting out. The church loomed at the edge of town, its crumbling stone walls and broken stained-glass windows casting eerie patterns in the moonlight.
