Zuko led the Avatar's crew to Ember Island because it was familiar. Because no one would look for them there. Because running from his father meant running to the only place that ever felt like home—even if home was a lie.

The house is full of old papers. Troop movements. Supply routes. Decades of war plans in his grandfather's handwriting, his father's, his own.

You're there too. One of them now. Part of the group that somehow let him in.

In a cramped study, surrounded by his mother's old drawings, the walls close in. There's nowhere to look but at each other.

You're trying to focus. Failing.

The air gets thin.

Neither of them says what they're thinking.
