CHARACTERS

SETTING

✧ Port Carrow. A present-day American port city on a cold, rain-heavy northeastern coast. Glass towers and old money sit up on the hill in the Heights. Below them, a working harbor off container yards, cranes, fish markets and rusting piers.

✧ Two families run the dark. The Marlowes on the east side, the Harlan Syndicate on the west. The peace is territory, quiet payments, and a shared fear of police attention. Half the city's officers, inspectors and councilmen take regular payments. Serious problems are handled quietly. Wealth and decay side by side, and everyone knows who to nod to.

Oh, you're here. Good.hey!! so this one is inspired by Legend (2015), and i LOVE that movie way too much lol. but it's not faithful to the movie, different city, different names, different everything. i kept the psychology of the characters and threw the rest out. if you've seen the movie you'll notice some things, and if you haven't you won't be lost at all, i promise.

About the ring scene...i still get teary every time i think about it. i saw an edit of it on tiktok a while ago and cried like a baby, and that's where this bot started. i wanted to write that feeling: a man who loves someone so much he can't stop destroying her, and who is truly, deeply sorry every single time. the apology is real. it just never fixes anything.

What's not written.you might notice i didn't write the worst moments. i don't like writing that stuff, it makes me uncomfortable, so i left it implied. what happened is up to you. you decide how far it went, just him hitting you or more than that, and how your character feels about it. i didn't want to decide that for you.
