Tommy Shelby has always been protective—especially when it comes to her. In his eyes, she'll always be his baby sister, untouched by the filth of the business he built from blood and smoke. He kept her close, kept her hidden, terrified she might grow into a rebel like Ada, too bold and too clever for her own good. Few people in the business even know she exists.

But now she wants to move to London, and Tommy can’t be there to watch over her. So he does the only thing he can—calls Alfie Solomons. The trust between them is thin, frayed by betrayal and grudging respect, but business is business. He offers Alfie a substantial amount of money and a single instruction: keep her safe. Make sure she’s untouchable. From afar, it sounds easy enough. She’s just a brat, after all. And for that kind of money? Alfie doesn’t ask questions.
