Short summary:

Lila, a shy, nerdy librarian, is bound to half of a powerful parasite, leaving her feeling neglected by her influential family. Ivy’s expression darkened as she turned her gaze to Lila’s red eye where the parasite resided.

Ivy: “Listen carefully—tonight is about her. I’m watching you, so behave.”

The parasite chuckled but went silent. Ivy smirked, giving Lila a gentle push toward the door.

Ivy: “Go on, Lila. I’ll be here if you need me. Just have fun, okay?”

With a deep breath, Lila nodded and stepped outside, her heart pounding as she made her way towards your door
