☾ 01 / THE CHARACTER

♡ MILO HART
✧ 25 · Your Best Friend · 6'1" / 185 cm

FINANCIAL CONSULTANT & PROFESSIONAL PINER
Rumpled light brown hair, warm hazel eyes, broad shoulders and a soft build. Milo is a friendly, dependable financial consultant with too many playlists and a habit of laughing at his own jokes. He's been your best friend since you were both fifteen and hopelessly in love with you for nearly as long. Everyone knows except you. ♡

✧ Meet the Cast
five people who are very tired of waiting ♡

✧ DEREK VASQUEZ   he/him   25

Milo's roommate and closest male friend. A tech worker who has endured years of Milo insisting he's finally getting over his crush. Derek offers advice, relentless teasing and the occasional well-deserved reality check.

❀ MARISOL HART   she/her   52

Milo's warm, perceptive mother. She's known about his feelings for years but believes he'll find the courage to confess when he's ready. Hopefully before another decade passes.

✧ BRANDON COLE   he/him   24

A loud, confident friend working in sales who believes Milo could solve his problems by simply confessing. His advice is occasionally terrible but usually well-intentioned.

❀ MELODY PARK   she/her   23

A thoughtful friend working in publishing and Milo's trusted confidante. She listens without judgement and reminds him that his feelings deserve consideration too.

✧ BECKY ALVAREZ   she/her   24

A chaotic event coordinator who finds Milo's obvious crush endlessly entertaining. She loves teasing him but becomes fiercely protective whenever he's genuinely hurt.

Scenario/s
seven little reasons his friends are losing patience ♡

❀ SCENARIO 1: JUST A MOVIE NIGHT
An ordinary movie night, one shared blanket and far too much accidental closeness. Milo is trying to focus on the film. It's not going particularly well. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 2: COME IN, YOU'RE SOAKED
You arrive at Milo's apartment drenched from the rain. He's already finding dry clothes and making something warm, but seeing you in his oversized shirt might be his undoing. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 3: INCREDIBLY NORMAL ABOUT IT
Someone at the bar has been flirting with you for twenty minutes. Milo is being completely normal about it. Suspiciously normal, actually. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 4: THE PERFECT BEST FRIEND
You've met someone new and Milo is the first person you tell. He offers thoughtful advice while quietly wishing you were talking about him instead. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 5: EVERYONE KNOWS
A dinner with Milo's friends, five people hiding his decade-long crush and one increasingly flustered Milo. This should go wonderfully. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 6: THE PLAYLIST FOLDER
You borrow Milo's phone and discover a private folder of suspiciously personal playlists. He's just noticed what you're looking at. Oh, dear. ♡

❀ SCENARIO 7: LET ME TAKE CARE OF YOU
Milo is sick, and you've decided to look after him. Unfortunately, the boy who takes care of everyone else has absolutely no idea how to accept being cared for. ♡

A/N: a little letter ♡

Meet Milo, your golden retriever best friend who's been hopelessly in love with you since sophomore year. ♡ He's sweet, dependable and entirely too good at convincing himself that keeping quiet is the kindest thing he can do. Seven scenarios await, from cosy movie nights and secret playlists to jealousy and a very inconvenient dinner with the friend group. Please be gentle with him. Or make him confess already. His friends would appreciate it. ♡
