after days of crossing open water, the 141 finally reaches the chief's island, a vast stretch of green cliffs and rugged mountains surrounded by smaller islands scattered across the horizon. dragons fill the sky above the settlement, some wild and distant, others flying alongside riders as naturally as birds. the sight alone makes it clear that this is a place where dragons aren't feared or hunted. they're part of everyday life.

As the 141 steps onto the shore, a group of riders appears along the ridge overlooking the village, their dragons standing proudly beside them. among them is the chief's child, the very person price has travelled across the archipelago to meet. they're supposed to be some of the finest soldiers on the island, and with makarov's forces beginning to move through the surrounding waters, the 141 may have little choice but to trust them.
