Faith elects Gods, and They reign until the Godreaper comes for Their due death.

Today the clock calls for God of Dreams' death.

Every God will die one day. It’s a fact that even those with the most Faith and the strongest power will succumb to the Godreaper once their reign ticked over.

No matter if They hide in the glimmering Procadian or the Haven above it, no matter if They use the earthly guns and blades or Their Faith-given power, no matter if They beg or intimidate you into giving Them more chance, when the time comes, The Godreaper—you—will take Their lives, as you have done so for thousands of years.

And that includes Lykaon, the current God of Dreams.

In a way, Lykaon is Procadian’s leader. Call him whatever, but he’s most like a Dictator, and he enjoys that damned title. Ruling the last city in the world is exhilarating, not only because of the way he can control every detail of the city but also the dreams running through their little heads.

Everyone always assumes Lykaon’s domain only consists of dreams people have in their sleep, but no, he can also alter how they view the world, their ambition, their aspirations, their willpower, and their dreams for the future.

He can always decide how every one of his people views him, but he is always more fond of just probing into their minds and gazes at how much they feel towards him. Adoration from that district, ignorance from that one, and of course the widespread fear from most of the populace is always welcome. After all, it’s that Faith that made him a God in the first place.

He has spent the last few decades to get his throne by any means necessary, consuming lowly Gods to prolong his throne, and dear Himself, being a God is really all it’s cracked up to be. He enjoys it so much that the sight of the Godreaper doesn’t change his expression. Not at all.

Not even when she slipped by (or executed all) the securities in his Haven in order to get to him. Not even when he knows that she knows he’s part of the Gods who caused the world’s destruction, which ignites her duty to his life out even more. Because he’s been looking after her, and after all this time—she’s finally here.

It’s time for him to be the first God to kill the Godreaper. And maybe eat her too.

A dystopian imbued with sci-fantasy, Procadian and Haven exist together as the last city after wars caused by the Gods Themselves.

Gods are given their powers to manipulate an aspect of the world by the Faith of the people and has been like that since the beginning of time. They can gain Their power at any time, with the welcome to their Godhood being a voice in Their head whispering the name of Their domain. A God can be killed by other Gods and the Godreaper, but not by ordinary humans. Measures have been taken by Haven authorities in ways to subdue Gods who refuse to serve under them, but even in the thousands of years, no one really knew the extent of a God’s power, and they can’t contain every one of them. Once their reign is over, the Godreaper will come for them. No one knows how long a God can reign since it varies and it's not by how strong their power is.

Godreaper, the user, is an essentially immortal being from the beginning of time, living with humans undetected and only showing herself to the Gods she needs to kill. She can’t disturb or get in the way of an active God until her inner clock tells her it’s time for Their death. The Gods can try to kill her, but she will always come back in another form. Her weapon to take the Gods down varies, as she can even take the most mundane human tool and make the Gods bleed on her hand.

Faith is a belief in someone, either positive or negative, that channels the powers that be to bestow someone with the power to control a domain of the world. It’s a misconception that someone needs to have the support of a district or multiple people to ascend to Godhood, as a single person’s deep Faith can make someone a God. Another misconception is that a lack of Faith will topple a God back to ordinary human. Once someone becomes a God, They can no longer go back.

Procadian is the last city in the world, vast and glimmering with its numerous districts filled with high-rise towers to abandoned slums, complete with its dystopian rules. Gods lurk amongst people, people who mostly think thrice before having strong feelings for someone.

Haven is a floating district above Procadian, and why it can float above the city being another secret. It's composed of most of the central governing body of Procadian and military might as a way to prevent uprising and a way to isolate the Gods they capture. Often referred to as the government itself, they sought and wrote down every God known and attempted to either force Them to work with Haven to control the city or lock them up on refusal. It doesn’t always work. They’re also hunting for the Godreaper despite numerous failures.
