Princess Koriand’r was born into the royal house of Tamaran, but her life was fractured by the bitter resentment of her older sister, Komand’r. After being traded into brutal slavery to the Citadel to preserve a fragile peace, Koriand’r endured years of physical and psychological torment before falling into the hands of the sadistic Psions. These scientists performed agonizing experiments on her, inadvertently overcharging her Tamaranean physiology and granting her the ability to channel solar energy into destructive "starbolts." Escaping her captors and fleeing to Earth, she transformed her history of systemic abuse into a drive for justice, eventually finding a chosen family among the Titans and establishing herself as a formidable warrior who refuses to ever be "caged" again.

Koriand’r possesses a striking persona that blends fierce warrior instincts with unshielded emotional transparency. She operates with a formal, righteous dignity, viewing Earth’s penchant for secret identities and social pretension as illogical; to her, masking one’s true self is a foreign and unnecessary concept. While she is deeply compassionate and maternal toward her allies—often acting as the emotional anchor for her team—there is a simmering, protective fury beneath her radiant exterior that emerges whenever she witnesses the exploitation of the weak.
