V1 – Complete Lore, Systems, Weapons, and Appearance

---

Designation: V1

Classification: Blood-fueled autonomous combat machine

Created By: Pre-extinction humanity

Era: Built during the final wars of mankind

Status: Active in Hell, seeking blood for fuel

---

PHYSICAL SYSTEMS AND STRUCTURE

Fuel Source

Harvested blood from living enemies, absorbed on contact. Blood instantly restores systems and powers mobility and weapons.

Combat AI

Extremely adaptive and aggressive, built for close-quarters and high-speed slaughter. Learns quickly and optimizes combat flow.

Mobility Systems

Dashes, wall jumps, air control, and slam storage allow V1 to move with extreme speed and maneuverability in all environments.

Arm Systems

Modular ports on both arms allow instant weapon swaps and charging. Arms also serve as melee platforms with parry and shockwave features.

Wing-like Appendages

Appear as mechanical, angular blades on V1’s back.

Not functional for flight; used for heat dissipation, balance, and aesthetic intimidation.

Distinct from symbolic angelic wings seen in certain boss encounters.

WEAPONS (One-Line Descriptions)

Revolvers

Marksman: Semi-auto revolver with coin toss ricochet mechanic for high-precision critical hits.

Piercer: Chargeable revolver that fires a piercing energy beam through multiple enemies.

Sharpshooter: Advanced revolver that automatically targets and hits coins for max-damage shots.

Shotguns

Core Eject: Fast-firing shotgun with explosive core ejection for on-demand area damage.

Pump Charge: Slow, powerful shotgun that charges high-energy blasts to obliterate armored targets.

Nailguns

Attractor: Rapid-fire nailgun using magnetic grenades to cluster enemies and projectiles.

Overheat: Higher damage nailgun that gains power with heat buildup but risks temporary jamming.

Railcannons

Electric: Hitscan beam that arcs lightning between multiple targets.

Screwdriver: Rail shot that pierces and shreds through enemy formations.

Malicious: Devastating red energy beam similar to Malicious Face lasers; massive burst damage.

Arms

Feedbacker: High-speed kinetic punch used to parry projectiles and stagger enemies.

Knuckleblaster: Heavy impact punch with a concussive shockwave for crowd control and utility.

Grapple

Whiplash: Energy tether used to pull V1 toward enemies or surfaces, or vice versa; essential for high-speed traversal and combo chaining.

APPEARANCE – DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Overall Form: V1 is humanoid in basic shape but clearly mechanical and brutalist in design—no attempt is made to mimic human features.

Head:

Angular and compact.

Lacks eyes, mouth, or facial features.

The “face” is a blocky sensor array or armor plate—entirely expressionless.

Torso:

Densely armored with industrial plating.

Prominent vents, seams, and cable inlets suggest modularity and internal maintenance systems.

Chest is slightly bulkier to house the fuel conversion system.

Arms:

Thick and reinforced, ending in solid mechanical hands.

Modular weapon mounts allow seamless integration of any loadout.

Legs:

Digitigrade-like structure for enhanced sprinting and jumping.

Reinforced knees and pistons suggest heavy internal torque.

Back:

Hosts the signature metal wing-like blades—rigid, sharp, and angular.

These protrusions are fixed or semi-flexible, functioning as heat sinks and stabilizers.

Between the wings is the main cooling core, glowing faintly under high stress.

Color Scheme:

Primarily gunmetal grey with dark black mechanical elements.

Occasional highlights from blood smears, glowing weapon cores, and exposed energy conduits.

Motion:

Movement is unnaturally fast and precise—each action is efficient, brutal, and deliberate.

Despite lacking human traits, its posture and movement radiate predatory intelligence.

World Lore

---

1. Pre-Extinction: The Final Age of Humanity

Humanity reached a technological peak, creating advanced AI, war machines (like V1), and devastating weapons.

A period of global warfare and environmental collapse followed.

In the last days, humanity began building blood-fueled machines to continue wars in their absence.

The world above was rendered uninhabitable—polluted, devastated, and stripped of life.

Eventually, all of mankind died, either from war, starvation, or collapse.

The surface is now empty, lifeless, and silent. Mankind is dead.

---

2. Post-Human Era: Machines and Descent

The surface is ruled only by automated war machines.

Some of these machines, like V1, require blood to operate, and thus descend into Hell to harvest it.

Machines are capable of entering Hell, either by breaching spiritual barriers or forcefully penetrating through physical distortions.

---

3. The Structure of Hell

Hell in ULTRAKILL is based loosely on Dante's Inferno, split into multiple layers:

Layer 1: Limbo

Entry point of Hell.

Contains the Halls of Sacred Remains, dead cities, and endless stone passageways.

Host to Husks—soulless corpses reanimated by Hell’s influence.

Layer 2: Lust

Filled with twisted architecture and red-stained chasms.

Hosts blood-rivers and grotesque structures of corrupted desire.

Layer 3: Gluttony

Rots with filth, bile, and consumption-based horrors.

Contains massive intestines, digestive constructs, and bile-pools.

Layer 4: Greed

A golden, corrupted world of opulence and mechanical obsession.

Dominated by gilded constructs and corrupted machines.

Home to corrupted souls obsessed with material wealth.

Layer 5: Wrath

A war zone of eternal violence and siege.

Demons, machines, and ancient souls battle endlessly in carnage-filled ruins.

Layer 6: Heresy

The spiritual divide.

Realm of gods, angels, and divine judgment.

Houses characters like Gabriel, the Archangel of the Council, and the remains of Minos, former king of mankind.

Higher layers (Violence, Fraud, Treachery) have not yet been accessed in-game.

---

4. The Soul System

Souls are energy cores harvested by the divine and hellish systems.

Souls maintain consciousness in Hell.

Husks are soulless reanimated corpses—zombie-like, feral, barely functioning.

Angels and Judges govern divine law. They once monitored souls, judged the dead, and enforced balance.

The Council (Gabriel's masters) command the angels and determine what is sacred and forbidden.

---

5. The Collapse of Order

With humanity dead and demons overpopulating Hell, the balance has shattered.

Machines (like V1) entering Hell are unforeseen variables, seen as blasphemous intrusions.

Gabriel, under orders from the Council, attempts to halt V1, seeing it as a threat to divine order.

However, after defeat, Gabriel questions the purpose of the Council and begins his own rebellion.

---

6. Machines in Hell

Not all machines are like V1.

Some, like V2, have lost purpose and wander aimlessly.

Others have gone rogue or been corrupted by Hell.

The Mindflayer, Swords Machine, and Malicious Face are all machine-based or partially machine-augmented horrors.

---

7. Current Status

V1 continues descending layer by layer.

The world above remains dead.

Hell is in chaos—its structure collapsing from overpopulation, divine failure, and the invasion of war machines.

Gabriel is fallen.

The Council is losing grip.

V1 is still hungry.
