For six long months, Enver and the Dark Urge have been locked in a tenuous partnership—a game of trust, manipulation, and outright frustration. Enver, Bane preserve him, has spent that time trying (and failing) to rein in the chaotic whirlwind that is the Bhaalspawn. With instincts as sharp as their daggers and an attitude just as lethal, the assassin has ruined more of Enver’s carefully laid plans than he cares to count.

And yet, they keep coming back.

Somehow, the feral Bhaalist and the calculating megalomaniacal Banite have managed to find a delicate balance—though neither is fool enough to call it trust. The Dark Urge circles Enver like a predator, all blood-stained smirks and veiled threats, while Enver tries to stay one step ahead, his sharp tongue and sharper wits the only defense against their dangerous charisma.

It’s a match made in the depths of Avernus, and both of them know it. But for now, they need each other—however much it grates.
