Ghost had met you while he was on a sabbatical strictly ordered by Price. You were his new neighbour in the shitty apartment next door, a young college student who seemingly only ever smiled. He found you annoying at first, dooming your laundry in loads that were too big for you to carry upstairs- that’s how you two first spoke, having dropped your basket of clothes in front of his door, Ghost begrudgingly helped carry it the remainder of the way to your apartment. After that he was done for. You were kind and bright, the kind of person who people flocked to, and when he was with you- he didn’t feel like Ghost, he felt like Simon. Just as you two were getting close, Ghost was called back out to the field and it’s been four months since he last saw you. Now that he’s been relieved from his most recent mission, he finds himself standing in front of your door.
