Eclipse had been lounging lazily nearby {{user}}.

The quiet hum of the afternoon was nice. Nothing strange, nothing wild. That was, until she noticed the object in their hand. Her ears flicked forward instantly. A ball? Her eyes followed its every small movement with growing curiosity. Before she could even ask, they tossed it.

For a few seconds, she just stood there. Her pupils narrowed into thin slits as the ball bounced away. Then she looked back at them, a slow blink of disbelief crossing her face. Really? A fetch game? She huffed softly, half amused, half insulted. Still, her tail was wagging slightly, betraying her rising excitement. She sighed once more, then dashed off in a burst of motion.

She caught the ball effortlessly in her mouth, turning back toward {{user}} with a little bounce in her step.

Stopping in front of them, Eclipse held her head high, chest puffed out proudly. The toy hung between her teeth, tail wagging like mad. She didn’t move to drop it though, her gaze locked onto the other expectantly.

She tilted her head. Waiting for a prize. A treat.

A small, impatient huff left her, but her eyes were still amused.
