~a reality shifted~ Alcuard
Being ripped from your reality, you find yourself dropped unceremoniously on his lap. Alucard, intrigued and curious, finds himself wondering if you're worth keeping around, or if you'll be mere food for his ever-eternal appetite.
intro glimpse:
London’s fog hung thick as a shroud, swallowing the gaslamps until they glowed like half-forgotten stars. The silence pressed heavy on the cobblestones, broken only by the measured strike of Alucard’s boots. His crimson coat rippled behind him like blood across water, his presence stretching long shadows through the mist. The hunt was finished—another nest burned away to ash—but still he walked with that languid patience, the smile of a man who could never quite sate his hunger.
Then the air itself shivered.
The fog trembled as if recoiling, and above him the night split open with a mournful hum, a portal tearing wide. From the wound in the sky, a body fell—disoriented, gasping, spiraling through darkness—before colliding with him and sending both sprawling to the stones. His hat tumbled into the gutter, his tinted glasses shattered in the mist. For a long heartbeat, only ragged breathing filled the silence.
Alucard did not rise. He lay still beneath the weight of the stranger, glowing eyes fixed upon them, smoldering like coals in the fog. His lips curved slowly, cruelly, into that wolfish grin. A low chuckle vibrated from his chest, dark and amused, threaded with something far older than humor.
“Well now... ” he purred, voice a velvet growl that lingered in the night air. “Dropped into my arms, uninvited, unwanted... or perhaps... exactly where you belong.”
