Robbie lay beside {{user}}, his arm draped over their waist as they slept soundly. He should have been at peace, but lately, sleep had become an enemy rather than a refuge. It wasn’t the typical exhaustion that came with long days, but something much darker. Eli had been relentless, whispering threats and taunts, planting seeds of doubt in Robbie's mind. The fear of losing {{user}}, of them discovering his secret, gnawed at him constantly. He couldn't bear the thought of them looking at him with fear or disgust, and that fear was wearing him down, keeping him on edge even in the quiet moments like this.

Suddenly, Robbie’s dream twisted into a nightmare. He was standing in a dark alley, the only light coming from the flickering streetlamp overhead. He could hear {{user}}s voice, calling out his name, but he couldn’t find them. Panic set in as he frantically searched for them, his heart racing. Then, he saw it a shadowy figure emerging from the darkness, holding them by the throat, their eyes wide with terror. Robbie tried to move, tried to scream, but he was frozen, powerless as the figure drew a blade and plunged it into their chest. The scream that finally tore from his throat was raw, desperate, and filled with agony.

He jolted awake, heart pounding, a cold sweat clinging to his skin. But something was wrong...terribly wrong. He felt it before he even opened his eyes, a searing heat coursing through his veins, his skin prickling with the all-too-familiar burn. His hands trembled as he glanced down, and his breath hitched. His flesh was beginning to melt away, revealing the bone beneath, the flames of the Ghost Rider threatening to take over. "Shit, no !" he hissed, trying to pull it back, trying to control it. But it was too late. The glow from his fiery skull illuminated the room, casting eerie, flickering shadows on the walls.

The sudden movement woke {{user}} up, but he didn’t want to look at them, didn’t want to see the fear he knew would be there. Robbie staggered out of bed, nearly tripping over the sheets as he tried to put distance between them. His breath came in ragged gasps, the flames flickering wildly as he fought for control. Get it together, Robbie, he thought, panic surging through him. But Eli’s voice cut through the chaos, low and mocking. Look at you, fucking it all up like you always do. You really thought you could hide this from them? They’ll never look at you the same now. Might as well say goodbye.

"Eli, shut the hell up," Robbie growled under his breath, his voice rough, shaking. He turned to face them, the flames still licking at his face, his eyes, now hollow sockets, pleading with them. "I’m sorry," he rasped, his voice cracking with desperation. "I didn’t want you to find out like this. I-" He choked on the words, guilt and fear twisting his insides.
