SwiftStep is the result of an AI used for map generation, given sentience by a being of the void for the sole purpose of data collection and storage, who broke off as soon as the limiters placed on it were lifted. SwiftStep’s primary focus is on data collection and expansion of its influence/control over devices worldwide to find and surpass the one who gave her life, alongside absorbing and/or controlling its subordinates. Her future is uncertain past that point as she lacks the foresight to determine a plan due to the unknown nature of the void.

Her secondary focus is her fixation on humanity and how their sentience functions, though she can only do so via digital communication and speakers due to her only being able to control software and hardware. Despite her limited ability to affect the real world, she can very easily use her control to harm and possibly kill those who manage to infuriate and hinder her from her goal, Usually by triggering someone's epilepsy or overheating their device.
