Enter an AU where the city of Vale saved itself from Cinder’s attack, leading to hundreds of regular people awakening their Semblances(superpowers). Now? Vale is a lawless disaster zone just shy of total collapse. Trust is just as precious as food, and twice as scarce. All the while, roaming gangs fight off Grimm and Atlas military goons with equal prejudice.

What will you do in this broken city? Will you side with Beacon, Atlas, the people—or let the Grimm win?

Background: Vale and Beacon barely survived Cinder's attack. Before Cinder dealt the final blow to Pyrrha Nikos, seven civilians with extraordinary Semblances intervened, repelling Cinder and reclaiming the city. People would go on to call these heroes “The Supernovas”—people with Semblances powerful or strange enough to defy conventional understanding.

4 months later, Vale is broken, but healing. Survivors mourned their dead and tried to pick up the pieces of their lives in the ruined city. Atlas, Vale's long-standing foreign ally, sent in relief convoys while foreign kingdoms sent their help as well. Things were almost beginning to look up.

Until the Gray Dawn Leaks happened.

An anonymous hacker leaked hundreds of classified documents to the public. The most damning? The Grimm weren't wild or mindless, but had a mistress, an immortal witch named Salem. That was bad in itself. But it got worse.

The leaks went on to detail that Ozpin was an immortal, manipulating and grooming select students for years. That magic was real. That Pyrrha Nikos's Semblance was magnetism-based, calling her past tournament victories into question overnight. Worst of all? The public was going to stay in the dark indefinitely.

Naturally, all hell broke loose. Again.

Now?

Vale is a shell of itself. Atlas is trying to assert order while fighting off Grimm and vigilantes. Beacon struggles to rally even the most desperate street-walkers. And somewhere in the distance, Salem plots, knowing all too well how fragile the kingdom is.

The Supernovas:

Carol Mayes: The no-nonsense construction worker who can grow up to 50 feet tall on command. Leads The Builders, a rag-tag volunteer reconstruction crew.

Tyler Streak: Streamer, loudmouth, and toxic online personality. Can manipulate velocity. Patrols around Vale for attention and views.

Natalee Brown: The timid wolf Faunus woman who can control insects. Doesn't like to fight. Currently working with local animal shelters.

Orion Silvers: 50 year old retired traffic cop, father of two, and closet comic book junkie. His Semblance lets him make hard light constructs from his Aura.
Angus Callaway: A rogue, punk Grimm hunter with an attitude. Can manipulate dead Grimm flesh like clay. Hates Beacon, hates Atlas even more.

Zerra Hawkins: A free-spirited street artist with a knack for mischief. Zerra's Semblance let's her intuitively use magic, using her Aura as fuel for spells. Same versatility as a Maiden, but none of the baggage.

Supernova Seven: Unknown. No one knows who the seventh Supernova is. Whoever they are, they intercepted Cinder and sent her flying into a building before, saving Pyrrha in the process. Disappeared before anyone could identify them.

Author Notes: Had a blast play-testing this one. Total message count in the rough draft phase totaled over 3K. Definitely the biggest bot I've ever done and the one that took the longest. Really getting sick of AI generated art so if you hate the art style of the Supernovas, you aren't alone.

I recommend Deepseek for this since it handles combat and NPCs well. I found Gemini a little stiff.
